CFAN and Maggie’s Place present: A series of food skills workshops.
- Saturday, Dec 12 : Flavourful soups. Learn to use beans, lentils, squash, etc., to make inexpensive, healthy soups this winter (and all year long)!
- Saturday, Jan 16 : Home-baked bread. Learning to bake from scratch not only saves money, but it is healthy too! Everyone will take dough home with them.
- Saturday, Feb 6 : Foods for Chinese New Year (or any day!). Learn to make scrumptious rice paper salad rolls with noodles and sauce and traditional poached chicken. You will wow everyone with these tasty and healthful foods.
Register ahead by calling Maggie’s Place at 902-667-7250 as workshop space is limited. All workshops are free of charge. First come first serve.
